The present work refers to the identification of nutritional deficiencies present in the soil, as well as their correlation with the vegetative development in the subsequent corn crop. The methodology of this work is characterized as a case study. The NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), is an index used to measure the reflectance of the culture to the sun's rays, indicating places of greater and lesser vegetative developments based on the chlorophyll parts of the plants and using a multi-spectral sensor. Soil samples were collected during the inter-harvest period using the sampling grid, in a property located in the municipality of Catanduvas-PR. The sampling grid was composed of one sample per ha-1 and 12 sub-samples each, totaling 173 soil samples. From the obtained values, and the generation of NDVI and fertility maps, it can be concluded that the results show the importance of collecting data from precision agriculture for a correct elevation of soil nutrients in specific locations of the land
