Will Eisner no palco brasileiro

Abstract

Resumo: Esta pesquisa aborda a transposição da obra quadrinista de Will Eisner para os palcos brasileiros. Três peças teatrais - Avenida Dropsie, Pessoas Invisíveis e New York por Will Eisner - são analisadas pelo viés da intermidialidade. Utilizamos as teorias de Irina Rajewsky, Claus Clüver, Will Eisner, Linda Hutcheon, entre outros, objetivando analisar o encontro da mídia quadrinhos com a mídia teatro e os efeitos oriundos dessas inter-relações. Não existem muitos trabalhos de transposição dos quadrinhos para o palco e a metodologia comparativa se deu através de uma interpretação analítica. O material disponível de cada encenação permitiu que pudéssemos realizar um cotejamento entre o texto fonte e o texto alvo, possibilitando uma análise minuciosa dos encontros intermídias. Abstract: This research analyses the transpositions of Will Eisner's comic books to Brazilian stages. Three plays - Dropsie Avenue, Invisible People and New York by Will Eisner - are examined from the perspective of intermidiality. The theories by Irina Rajewsky, Claus Cluver, Linda Hutcheon, Will Eisner, among others, are the basis for this research between comics and theater media's encounter and the effects resulting from these interrelations. There are not many transposition's works of comics to the stage. The comparative methodology took place through an analytical interpretation. The material available about each of the performances allowed a proper comparison between the source text and the target text, providing a detailed analyze of the intermidiate relationships.
