O uso de mídias digitais no Programa Conhecer para Prevenir, com estudantes do 5º ano

Abstract

Resumo: Este artigo investiga o impacto do uso de mídias digitais no Programa Conhecer para Prevenir (CPP), aplicado com estudantes do 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental da rede municipal de Curitiba. A pesquisa foi realizada com 30 alunos de uma Escola Municipal de Curitiba e envolveu aplicação de questionários, entrevistas com professores e observações em sala de aula. A análise buscou compreender de que maneira recursos como vídeos, jogos interativos e animações podem potencializar o processo de ensinoaprendizagem em temáticas de prevenção de acidentes e segurança escolar. Os resultados apontaram que o uso de mídias digitais contribuiu para o aumento da motivação dos alunos, favoreceu a participação coletiva e possibilitou maior retenção de conteúdos. Além disso, os professores relataram que a metodologia com mídias favoreceu a contextualização e aproximou os conteúdos da realidade dos estudantes. Conclui-se que o CPP, ao incorporar mídias digitais, fortalece a cultura de prevenção nas escolas e promove uma educação mais significativa e alinhada às demandas contemporâneas

Abstract: This article investigates the impact of using digital media in the "Knowing to Prevent" Program (CPP), applied to 5th-grade students in the municipal school system of Curitiba. The research was conducted with 30 students from a Municipal School in Curitiba and involved questionnaires, interviews with teachers, and classroom observations. The analysis sought to understand how resources such as videos, interactive games, and animations can enhance the teaching-learning process in the areas of accident prevention and school safety. The results indicated that the use of digital media contributed to increased student motivation, fostered collective participation, and enabled greater content retention. Furthermore, teachers reported that the methodology with media facilitated contextualization and brought the content closer to the students' reality. It is concluded that the CPP, by incorporating digital media, strengthens the culture of prevention in schools and promotes a more meaningful education aligned with contemporary demands
