A influência dos celulares na educação : reflexões sobre a proibição nas escolas

Abstract

Resumo: processo de ensino-aprendizagem em uma escola pública de Ensino Médio localizada no bairro Uberaba, em Curitiba. A discussão se insere em um contexto nacional marcado pela promulgação da Lei nº 15.100/2025, que restringe o uso de dispositivos eletrônicos portáteis nas salas de aula, permitindo-os apenas para fins pedagógicos sob orientação docente. O estudo adota uma abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa, combinando revisão bibliográfica, e aplicação de questionários a 73 alunos e 20 professores. Os resultados revelam que, embora a proibição contribua para a redução das distrações e melhora da atenção em sala de aula segundo a percepção docente, ela também limita o acesso a recursos educacionais digitais e não resolve, por si só, desafios relacionados ao engajamento e à autonomia dos estudantes. Para os alunos, a ausência do celular durante momentos de tempo livre gera sentimentos variados, como o aumento da interação social, mas também de tédio, evidenciando a complexidade das relações estabelecidas entre juventude e tecnologia. A pesquisa conclui que a proibição, embora funcional como medida de controle, é insuficiente para lidar com as demandas da cultura digital. Defende-se, portanto, a necessidade de políticas educacionais que conciliem disciplina e uso pedagógico intencional dos dispositivos móveis, associadas à formação docente contínua e ao desenvolvimento de competências digitais, conforme orienta a Base Nacional Comum Curricular

Abstract: This article analyzes the influence of the ban on the use of cell phones on the teaching-learning process in a public high school located in the Uberaba neighborhood of Curitiba. The discussion is situated within a national context marked by the enactment of Law No. 15.100/2025, which restricts the use of portable electronic devices in classrooms, allowing them only for pedagogical purposes under teacher guidance. The study adopts a qualitative and quantitative approach, combining a literature review and the application of questionnaires to 73 students and 20 teachers. The results reveal that, although the ban contributes to reducing distractions and improving attention in the classroom according to teachers' perception, it also limits access to digital educational resources and does not, by itself, solve challenges related to student engagement and autonomy. For students, the absence of cell phones during free time generates varied feelings, such as increased social interaction, but also boredom, highlighting the complexity of the relationships established between youth and technology. The research concludes that prohibition, while functional as a control measure, is insufficient to address the demands of digital culture. Therefore, it argues for the need for educational policies that reconcile discipline and the intentional pedagogical use of mobile devices, coupled with ongoing teacher training and the development of digital skills, as guided by the Brazilian National Curriculum Base (BNCC)
