Pedagogias das masculinidades infantis em enunciações neoconservadoras

Abstract

Resumo: A partir do arcabouço teórico-metodológico pós-estruturalista, esta pesquisa se volta às pedagogias de produção das masculinidades infantis a partir de artefatos imagéticos, isto é, de fotografias e imagens. As perguntas germinativas desse estudo são: como a lógica imagética neoconservadora retroalimenta sentidos de masculinidades infantis e como esses sentidos são acionados nesse contexto político? Isso posto, o objetivo da investigação é olhar para as discursividades imagéticas e as pedagogias de produção de masculinidades infantis movimentadas nesses artefatos. O campo teórico em que essas tessituras se alocam é, especificamente, o das discussões pós-estruturalistas de gênero, sexualidade e das masculinidades, compreendendo-os, sob a lente dos Estudos Culturais, como aspectos produzidos por pedagogias de gênero e de sexualidade que regem formas de ser e estar no mundo. Em consonância com essa perspectiva, a categoria das infâncias e os estudos críticos tecidos no campo da Sociologia da Infância são mobilizados no estudo de modo a compreender as dinâmicas da produção de masculinidades e infâncias no contexto do recrudescimento do neoconservadorismo na arena política brasileira, com enfoque nas nuances bolsonaristas (2019-2022), espaçotempo em que as questões de gênero e de sexualidade foram atualizadas e retroalimentadas, tanto no contexto político quanto cultural. Para isso, a natureza investigativa da pesquisa é qualitativa e descritiva, e trilha o percurso metodológico bibliográfico e documental com enfoque no mapeamento de imagens publicizadas ao decorrer do recorte temporal de 2019 a 2023 e que evocam sentidos sobre masculinidades e infâncias. As ferramentas teórico-analíticas empregadas para olhar para as discursividades do material empírico em questão são a análise de discurso foucaultiana, com a finalidade de olhar para as operações de saber-poder, e a noção de enquadramento de Judith Butler, para tensionar o plano imagético-discursivo. A partir dos empreendimentos analíticos acerca dos artefatos imagéticos das enunciações neoconservadoras bolsonaristas, o vetor da violência e demais elementos e símbolos que a sustentam passam a ter centralidade no delineamento de masculinidades na infância na conjetura política em questão, ressoada em diferentes momentos e personagens neoconservadores.

Abstract: Based on the post-structuralist theoretical-methodological framework, this research focuses on the pedagogies of production of childhood masculinities based on image artifacts. The germinating questions of this study are: how does bolsonarist neoconservative imagery logic feed back into meanings of childhood masculinities and how are these meanings activated in this political context? That said, the objective of this investigation is to look at the imagetic discursivities and pedagogies of production of childhood masculinities present in these artifacts. The theoretical field that these discussions are allocated to is, specifically, the post-structuralist discussions of gender and masculinities, understanding both, under the lens of Cultural Studies, as aspects produced by pedagogies of gender and sexuality that govern ways of being and be in the world. In line with this perspective, the category of childhoods and critical studies woven into the field of Sociology of Childhood are incorporated into the study in order to understand the dynamics of the production of childhood masculinities in the context of the resurgence of ultraconservatism in the brazilian political arena, with a focus on bolsonarist nuances (2019-2022), space-time in which issues of gender and sexuality were updated and fed back, both in the political and cultural context. To this end, the investigative nature of this research is qualitative and descriptive, and follows a bibliographic and documentary methodological path, focusing on mapping images broadcast and published in the media in this time frame that evoke meanings about masculinities and childhoods. The theoretical-analytical tools used to look at the discursivities of the empirical material in question are Foucault’s discourse analysis, with the purpose of looking at the operations of knowledge-power, and Judith Butler's notion of framing, to tension the imagetic plane-discursive. Based on the analytical undertakings regarding the imagery artifacts of bolsonarist neoconservative enunciations, the vector of violence and other elements and symbols that support it become central in the delineation of masculinities in childhood in the political conjecture in question, resonated in different moments and neoconservative characters.
