LAB : revista de divulgação científica da UFPR

Abstract

Resumo : Desde a Modernidade, a ciência desempenha um papel fundamental para a estruturação de diversas sociedades. Mas, paradoxalmente, ainda existem pessoas sem acesso aos saberes científicos. A partir dessa constatação, este estudo faz um levantamento das formas de comunicação de ciência praticadas na Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). O objetivo é observar se o conhecimento científico se difunde entre os estudantes dessa instituição e elaborar um projeto que contribua para a divulgação científica local. A metodologia adotada foi a revisão bibliográfica, na qual se observam os conceitos de ciência e de comunicação científica, e o desenvolvimento de entrevistas estruturadas com cientistas. No final desta reflexão teórica, propõe-se a revista impressa Lab como um novo canal de comunicação entre os pesquisadores da UFPR e os estudantes

Abstract : Since the Modernity, science has key role in the structuring of many societies. However, it is known that there are people without access to scientific knowledge. Based on that situation, this study do a survey of kinds of science communication practiced at the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). The purpose is seeing if scientific knowledge is diffused among the students of that institution and, after all, developing a project that contributes to the local science dissemination. The methodology adopted was the theoric review, mainly the concepts of science and scientific communication, and the application of structured interviews with scientists. At the end of this theoretical reflection, it is proposed the magazine Lab as a new channel of communication among researchers of UFPR and its students
