Ética e saúde na prática pedagógica do professor da rede municipal de ensino de Curitiba : uma análise habermasiana

Abstract

Resumo: O estudo tem como objetivo investigar sob a perspectiva habermasiana as implicações éticas do "Programa Saúde Vocal" na prática pedagógica do professor das séries iniciais do Ensino Fundamental da Rede Municipal de Curitiba. A teoria da Ação Comunicativa, de Jürgen Habermas, baseia-se num entendimento lingüístico entre membros de uma comunidade comunicativa, tendo como pano de fundo o mundo da vida, sem o qual não haveria entendimento mútuo. Atualmente, a sociedade tem como característica marcante o individualismo e a competitividade, tornando ainda mais necessária uma reflexão ética para a busca de um maior comprometimento e respeito entre indivíduos e suas ações. As relações entre trabalho, ética e saúde devem ser um dos pontos principais na formação permanente de professores, contribuindo para uma prática social que favoreça o crescimento do indivíduo na sociedade. As interferências da saúde na prática pedagógica do professor, por outro lado estão presentes cada vez mais no cotidiano escolar, destacase aqui as que interferem sobre a voz do professor; a maioria desses trabalhadores, que apresenta problema de voz ou é afastada para tratamento ou permanece em sala de aula, agravando o problema. Os professores da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Curitiba inseremse nas categorias de trabalhadores que fazem uso constante e profissional da voz e estão sujeitos ao absenteísmo por desenvolverem a disfonia, dentre outras patologias. Muitos desses professores embora participem, desde 1997, do Programa Saúde Vocal do Professor desenvolvido pela Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba, não têm consciência ética da sua saúde. Visando a uma melhor compreensão dessa problemática, realizou-se em uma Escola Municipal de Curitiba. A amostra inclui 14 professores (6 das quais já apresentaram disfonias vocais) da Escola Municipal Marumbi. A pesquisa qualitativa, de caráter descritivo, inclui uma revisão bibliográfica e um estudo de caso. A metodologia inclui a localização, leitura e discussão de relatos e do preenchimento de questionários. A análise habermasiana considerou os problemas enfrentados pelos professores investigados antes e depois do tratamento vocal e do uso de microfones na prática pedagógica. Conclui-se que os professores necessitam discutir seus problemas numa perspectiva ética que apresentam novas formas de pensar em favor de uma prática mais reflexiva e comprometida com as questões de saúde, e que a ética do discurso pode fornecer um arcabouço para a expressão da consciência ética individual e coletiva no contexto educacional.

Abstract: The study it has as objective to investigate under the habermasiana perspective the ethical implications of the "Program practical Vocal Health" in the pedagogical one of the professor of the initial series of Basic Ensino of the Municipal Net of Curitiba. The theory of the Comunicativa Action, created and developed for the German philosopher Jürgen Habermas, is based on a linguistic agreement between members of a comunicativa community, having as deep cloth of the world of the life, without which it would not have mutual agreement. Currently, the society has as characteristic marcante the individualism and the competitiveness, becoming still more necessary an ethical reflection for the search of a bigger comprometimento and respect between individuals and its action. The relations between work, ethics and health must be one of the main points in the permanent formation of professors, contributing for one practical social one that favors the growth of the individual in the society. The interferences of the practical health in the pedagogical one of the professor, on the other hand are gifts each time more in the daily pertaining to school, are distinguished here the ones that intervene on the voice of the professor; the majority of these workers, that presents voice problem or is moved away for treatment or remains in classroom, aggravating the problem. The professors of the Municipal Net of Education of Curitiba insert themselves in the categories of workers who make constant and professional use of the voice and are citizens to the absenteeism for developing the disfonia, amongst other patologias. Many of these professors although they participate, since 1997, of the Program Vocal Health of the Professor developed for the Municipal City hall of Curitiba, they do not have ethical conscience of its health. Aiming at to one better understanding of this problematic one, it was become fullfilled in a Municipal School of Curitiba. The sample includes 14 professors (6 of which already had presented vocal disfonias) of the Municipal School Marumbi. The qualitative research, of descriptive character, includes a revision and a study of case bibliographical.The methodology includes the localization, reading and quarrel of stories and the fulfilling of questionnaires. The habermasiana analysis considered the problems faced for the professors investigated before and after the vocal treatment and of the use of microphones in practical the pedagogical one. One concludes that the professors need to argue its problems in an ethical perspective that present new forms to think about practical reflexiva one and compromised favor of the one with the health questions, and that the ethics of the speech can supply one arcabouço the expression of the individual and collective ethical conscience in the educational context.
