Conselho escolar : a aplicação da democracia aos rumos da escola

Abstract

Resumo: O presente artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre a Escola atual, com o intuito de compreender o processo histórico da realidade da Educação brasileira e as transformações ocorridas nesse cenário a partir da formulação da Constituição de 1988, no caminho da implantação da democracia. Considera que a formação dos Conselhos Escolares, através do voto da comunidade escolar e da comunidade externa, é ferramenta para a prática democrática dentro da escola, fazendo dela um lugar aberto para os diferentes modos de olhar a educação, priorizando o processo de ensino aprendizagem de forma não excludente, valorizando a participação da comunidade onde está inserida. Pode assim, contribuir para a construção de uma comunidade onde os valores culturais, econômicos e sociais possam ser respeitados e através da prática escolar, reformulados e reorganizados de forma a refletir sobre o seu papel na formação dos cidadãos futuros.

Abstract: This article aims to reflect on the present school. It aims to understand the historical process of the reality of Brazilian education and the changes occurred in this scenario from the formulation of the Constitution of 1988, in the way of implementing democracy. It is important to understand the past to valorize the achievements and think in a dignified and equal future to our society. Proposing the formation of School Boards through the vote of the school community and external community is a tool for the democratic practice in the school, making it an open place to different ways to look the education, giving priority to the teaching-learning process in a non-exclusion, valuing the participation of the community where is it inserted. In doing so, contribute to building a community where cultural, economic and social rights can be respected and by practicing school, redesigned and reorganized to reflect on its role in formation of the future citizens.
