Derrubando muros : uma experiência filosófica e teatral no ensino médio

Abstract

Resumo: A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo investigar a teoria e a prática do teatro épico de Bertolt Brecht através do recorte de algumas perspectivas: a pedagógica, a política e a filosófica. Concentra-se no ponto que mais chama a atenção e que se procura explicitar neste estudo: a sugestão de que há, intrínseca ao aspecto pedagógico dessa forma teatral, notadamente, no efeito de distanciamento/estranhamento (Verfremdungseffekt), uma curiosa relação com a atitude filosófica que, por sua vez, orienta as bases de uma práxis transformadora. Investiga em que medida é possível aliar as técnicas épicas do teatro de Brecht à prática do ensino de filosofia no Ensino Médio, sem, com isso, descaracterizar a disciplina e o seu sentido. Busca-se ancoragem na investigação e na discussão de uma metodologia possível de transposição didática, encontrando na mediação praxiológica um conceito de referência. Ancorado por significativas contribuições teóricas, valendo-se de uma revisão de literatura, o estudo aqui desenvolvido procura aludir às razões que levam o autor a sustentar tais premissas. O trabalho discute, também, uma prática já desenvolvida na perspectiva do teatro épico, especificamente com alunos da EJA - Educação de Jovens e Adultos. Conclui que essa forma teatral serve à atitude filosófica na medida em que o seu aspecto estético e crítico se manifesta: não como expressão do belo, mas como expressão da verdade. Abstract: This research aims to investigate the theory and practice of Bertolt Brecht's epic theater through the selection of some perspectives: the pedagogical, the political and the philosophical. It focuses on the point that draws the most attention and that is sought to make explicit in this study: the suggestion that there is, intrinsic to the pedagogical aspect of this theatrical form, notably in the distancing/estrangement effect (Verfremdungseffekt), a curious relationship with the philosophical attitude, which in turn guides the foundations of a transformative praxis. It investigates the extent to which it is possible to combine the epic techniques of Brecht's theater with the practice of philosophy teaching in high school, without, in the process, derogating the discipline and its meaning. It seeks to anchor in the investigation and discussion of a possible methodology of didactic transposition, finding in praxiological mediation a reference concept. Anchored by significant theoretical contributions, drawing on a literature review, the study here developed seeks to drive at the reasons that lead the author to support such premises. The paper also discusses a practice already developed from the perspective of epic theater, specifically with students from EJA (Educação de Jovens e Adultos - Youth and Adult Education). It concludes that this theatrical form serves the philosophical attitude in so far as its aesthetic and critical aspect manifests itself: not as an expression of beauty, but as an expression of truth.
