Configuração da disciplina Ecologia Urbana para a educação a distância

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho tem como objetivo configurar, para a modalidade Educação a Distância, a disciplina presencial intitulada Ecologia Urbana, integrante do currículo do Curso de Graduação em Geografia da Universidade Federal do Paraná - UFPR. Justificou-se a relevância dos estudos no entendimento de que a modalidade de Educação a Distância representa uma forma diferenciada que oportuniza novas atitudes, novas formas de dialogar e de construir o conhecimento, de enriquecer e dinamizar o processo de ensino e de aprendizagem para determinados alunos do Curso de Graduação em Geografia. Para fundamentar os estudos, além do levantamento bibliográfico, utilizaram-se, principalmente, as referências legais que sustentam a Educação a Distância no Brasil e na Universidade Federal do Paraná, com especial atenção para a Resolução 72/10- CEPE. A configuração da Disciplina Ecologia Urbana pressupõe uma metodologia sem distancia, a estabelecer-se por meio de um processo efetivo de comunicação entre professor e alunos e entre alunos. Seu embasamento deve comprometer-se também com a concepção de educação que permeia o currículo do Curso de Graduação em Geografia da UFPR que busca a (re)construção do conhecimento, visando a formação profissional do aluno, mas, sobretudo, a sua formação humana.

Abstract: The purpose of this work is to configure, on the modality of Distance Education, the discipline called Urban Ecology which already integrates the Undergraduate Geography classroom curriculum taught at UFPR. Justifying the relevance of this study, the modality of distance education represents a different methodology which takes advantage of new attitudes, new ways to communicate and to build knowledge, enriching the teaching and learning process for certain Undergraduate Geography course students. Serving as source of this study, besides the literature, it was mainly used the legal references that support the distance education in Brazil and Federal University of Paraná, with special attention to the Resolution 72/10- CEPE. The Urban Ecology Discipline is configured on a methodology based without distance learning, recognizing the effectiveness of communication process between teacher and students and among students. Its basis must also embrace the concept of education which permeates the undergraduate geography of UFPR curriculum, seeking to (re)build knowledge, aiming at the students professional growth, but, above all, their human formation.
