Trabalho, educação e a transformação da sociedade em Guarapuava-PR nas décadas de 1960 e 1970 : o processo de criação da FAFIG

Abstract

Resumo: Este estudo teve por reflexão o processo de criação da Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Guarapuava a (FAFIG), no interior do Estado do Paraná. Utilizamos o estudo de material bibliográfico encontrado em livros, teses, dissertações e na legislação além de jornais da época, documentos da instituição, entrevistas com ex-alunos, ex-docentes, ex diretores da instituição e ainda com membros da sociedade guarapuavana, que não foram alunos, nem docentes, mas participaram do processo de instalação da Faculdade. No primeiro capítulo trabalhamos a formação do ensino superior no Brasil. No segundo capítulo situamos os processos de interiorização do ensino superior no Paraná. No terceiro e último capítulo procuramos situar os processos que desembocaram na gênese da (FAFIG). A contribuição da pesquisa está na análise do ganho social cultural de uma região em que a maioria dos professores eram chamados "professores leigos" por não possuírem formação para lecionar. Nesse sentido, o estudo do processo de instalação da Faculdade nos revela uma realidade na qual a necessidade local está conectada ao movimento maior da sociedade em âmbito nacional, como consequência da urgência em formar técnicos e mão de obra especializada, ainda como uma necessidade imposta pela abertura econômica e a entrada no país de grandes multinacionais. Abstract: This study reflects the process of creation of the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of the Guarapuava (FAFIG), in the State of Paraná. We used the study of bibliographical material found in books, theses, dissertations and legislation as well as newspapers of the time, the institution's documents, interviews with former students, former teachers, former directors of the institution and with guarapuavana members of society, not were students or teachers, but participated in the installation process of the College. In the first chapter work the formation of higher education in Brazil. In the second chapter situate the processes of internalization of higher education in Paraná. In the third and final chapter seek to situate the processes that ended at the genesis of (FAFIG). The contribution of the research is the analysis of the cultural, social gain of a region in which most teachers were called "lay teachers" because they lack training to teach. In this sense, the study of the process of installing the Faculty reveals a reality in which the local need is connected to the larger society movement nationwide as a result of the urgency to train technicians and skilled labor, even as a necessity imposed by economic liberalization and the entry of large multinationals in the country.
