Das tripas coração (1982) : ficção, cultura escolar e representações sociais na obra cinematográfica de Ana Carolina

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho se debruça sobre a obra cinematográfica Das tripas coração, filme lançado em 1982, com roteiro e direção de Ana Carolina. A obra encena um colégio católico para meninas da elite social, o qual, devido à má administração, recebe uma intervenção estadual que determina o fim de suas atividades. O interventor que está incumbido da função, esperando ser atendido, acaba por dormir na sala de reunião, tendo um sonho bastante excêntrico com o colégio e com todas as mulheres que por lá circulam. A dissertação apresenta os conteúdos do filme, verifica alguns aspectos de composição cinematográfica e reflete sobre práticas, comportamentos e normas sociais que remetem às representações de uma escola ficcional. A dissertação se vale de pressupostos da História Cultural e, a partir disso, reconhece signos de representação que remetem às relações sociais e às hierarquias de poder relatadas pela metáfora fílmica. Nela, ainda investigamos o panorama do cinema brasileiro, com o intuito de compreender Das tripas coração na história do cinema nacional e, especificamente, sua relevância para os estudos da História da Educação.

Abstract: This work focuses on the cinematographic work Das Tripas Coração, a film released in 1982 with a script and direction by Ana Carolina. The work stages a Catholic school for girls from the social elite that, due to its bad administration, receives a state intervention that determines the end of its activities. The intervener who is in charge of this function, waiting to be assisted, ends up sleeping in the meeting room, having a very eccentric dream about the school and all the women who circulate there. The dissertation presents the contents of the film, verifies some aspects of cinematographic composition and reflects on practices, behaviors and social norms that refer to the representations of a fictional school. The dissertation makes use of assumptions from Cultural History and, from this, recognizes signs of representation that refer to social relations and power hierarchies reported by the filmic metaphor. It also investigates the panorama of Brazilian cinema in order to understand Das tripas Coração in the history of national cinema and, specifically, its relevance to the studies of the History of Education.
