Educação física escolar : jogo educativo e jogo competitivo: (o caso dos

Abstract

Resumo: O objetivo do estudo foi investigar a influência do esporte escolar (jogo educativo e jogo competitivo) na prática pedagógica do professor de Educação Física. Tema escolhido pela nossa preocupação com a forma de organização e condução das competições escolares, pois como estão sendo efetivadas interferem diretamente nas aulas de Educação Física. Para tanto desenvolvemos estudos sobre a Educação Física Escolar, o Jogo e o Esporte. Direcionamos nossos estudos aos "JEM", Jogos Estudantis Municipais de Ponta Grossa, no Estado do Paraná, pela nossa proximidade e convivência com essa competição, na qual atualmente crianças entre 7 e 16 anos disputam durante uma semana o título de melhores "atletas" da cidade representando sua escola. Os JEM podem ser considerados um fenômeno sociocultural da nossa cidade e, da forma como está difundindo a competição esportiva, vêm influenciando no desenvolvimento das aulas de Educação Física Escolar. A consequência disso é que as escolas não medem esforços para alcançarem o sucesso na competição, superando outras que muitas vezes não dispõem das mesmas condições para preparar suas equipes representativas. A nossa preocupação se concentrou nos grupos iniciais dos JEM (I e II) que abrangem a faixa etária entre os 7 e 10 anos. A seleção, treinamento e preparação para a competição de crianças enquadradas nesses grupos fogem aos objetivos da Educação Física Escolar e das necessidades que as crianças têm de vivenciar seu corpo e suas possibilidades de movimentos. A participação em competições vem suprimindo o jogo em sua forma lúdica e dá ao esporte "status" de conteúdo único da Educação Física Escolar.

Abstract: The objective of this subject was to investigate school sport's influence (educative and competitive games) in the pedagogic practice of the Physical Education teacher. It was the chosen topic because we worry about the manner the organization and conduction of school competitions are accomplished and the way it has been put into effect it interferes directly in the Physical Education classes. For that reason we developed studies about Physical Education at schools, the game and the sport. We directed our subject to "JEM" Jogos Estudantis Municipais de Ponta Grossa, in Paraná, because of our proximity and relationship with that kind of competition, were nowadays, children between seven and sixteen years old dispute, during a week, the prize of the best athletes of the city representing their school. "JEM" can be considered a socio-cultural phenomenon of our city, and the way that sporting competition is being diffused is influencing the Physical Education classes' development. The schools have been doing everything possible to be successful in the competition, overcoming the others that sometimes don't have the same conditions to prepare their representative groups. We are worried about the first groups (I and II) of "JEM" that range from seven to ten years old. The selection, training and preparation for the children's competition included in that group escape from the objectives of Physical Education and from the children's needs of practicing their bodies and their possibilities of exercising. The participation in competitions has been replacing the game in its fun form and it gives to the sport status of the unique content of Physical Educations in Schools.
