Aspectos humanos, educacionais, sociais e a ordem moral no Ensino Superior

Abstract

Resumo: Considerando a relevante função da Universidade na sociedade, é por demais necessário fortalecer a sua estrutura, a sua organização, o seu sistema de ideias, tendo em vista a realidade do sistema de educação atual. Desta forma, essa pesquisa procura trazer diretrizes, soluções e alternativas humanas, com o objetivo de despertar a consciência crítica dos indivíduos, dos universitários, dos educado res de uma maneira geral, para uma maior identidade com a vida, com a razão, com a verdade, com o equilíbrio, com a paz, com a justiça, com a liberdade, enfim, com os valores morais. Os conceitos humanistas desenvolvidos visam, antes de mais nada, estruturar o sistema de ideias da Universidade, como também aproximá-la da realidade social, demonstrando a inter-relação existente nesse contexto. Visam, ainda, fortalecer a interação professor-aluno-comunidade, como também, promover integralmente a pessoa humana. Os objetivos definem-se pelo princípio de amor ao próximo, pela valorização do homem e pelo respeito aos indivíduos, às instituições e à sociedade humana. Portanto, a nossa proposta fundamenta-se, essencialmente, numa concepção humanista e moral no sentido de educar para a liberdade. Evidenciamos os valores morais para transferir ao homem a responsabilidade de educar exemplificando, através de seu caráter, de sua personalidade, de sua honradez, de sua honestidade, de sua dignidade, de seus direitos e deveres, enfim, de seu comportamento na sociedade. Com isso, almejamos que o currículo do ensino superior seja mais aberto, flexível, mais humanizado, coerente, autêntico e real, que aproxime-se cada vez mais da verdade de cada indivíduo, do significado de cada ato e de cada ser, respeitando a identidade cultural e social de todos. Enfim, o que queremos alcançar é uma universidade livre e democrática, comprometida com os princípios humanistas, morais e filosóficos da sociedade.

Abstract: If the duties of the university in modern society are considered, the necessity of strengthening its structure, its organization and philosophy, in view of the present reality of our educational system, is imperative. Therefore, in an attempt to awaken the critical consciousness of university students, of the people and educators in general, this research aims at presenting guide-lines and humane alternatives towards a greater identification with life, rationality and harmony, with peace, with justice, with truth and with freedom, in short, with moral values. The humanistic concepts put forth herein, purport in first place to organize the universities system of ideas, by bringing it closer to social reality and by showing the interrelation existing in this context. Furthermore, they intend strengthening the teacher-student-community interaction, as well as an overall advancement of man. This purpose is guided by the principle of love thy neighbor, by the importance of man and through respect for individuals, institutions and human society. Consequently our proposal is based essentially on the idea of educating for freedom by means of a humanistic and moral conception. The moral values have been emphasized, in order to make man bear the responsability of educating by the example of character, personality, honesty and integrity, as well as his dignity, his duties and prerogatives, in short, his overall social behavior. Because of this we desire a more open and flexible university curriculum, which is more humanized, consequent , authentic and closer to reality, which ought to be always coming nearer to each person's truth, to the meaning of each action and human being, without jeopardizing everyone's social and cultural identity. To conclude, we aim to attain a free and democratic university, bound to societie's humanistic, philosophical and moral principles.
