Aprendizagem com a metodologia da modelagem matemática : com a voz os estudantes

Abstract

Resumo: Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral analisar como os estudantes da terceira série do Ensino Médio, de uma escola pública do município de Tunas do Paraná, percebem a Modelagem Matemática para sua aprendizagem. A partir do objetivo geral delimitamos o objetivo específico: analisar se a Modelagem Matemática proporcionou percepções diferentes daquelas que o estudante já possuía em relação à maneira como a Matemática era trabalhada em sala de aula através dos livros didáticos e agora com a participação na elaboração e resolução das atividades. Numa abordagem qualitativa, pesquisa traz o referencial teórico sobre o tema com as concepções de alguns autores em relação à Modelagem Matemática e suas contribuições para a Educação Matemática. A pesquisa aponta para a possibilidade de, metodologicamente, utilizar a Modelagem Matemática como uma estratégia para a apreensão dos conteúdos matemáticos, utilizando-se como base os resultados obtidos pelo grupo de vinte e cinco estudantes do terceiro ano do ensino médio. A presente pesquisa utilizou-se de entrevistas, análise de materiais produzidos pelos estudantes pesquisados, observação e grupo focal. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram vinte e cinco estudantes que formavam a terceira série do Ensino Médio de uma escola pública do Município de Tunas do Paraná. Os principais interlocutores utilizados para fundamentação desta pesquisa foram os professores: Ubiratan D' Ambrósio, Maria Salett Biembengut, Rodney Bassanezi, Jonei Cerqueira Barbosa e Dionísio Burak. Abstract: This research has as general objective to analyze how the students of the third grade of High School, from a public school in the municipality of Tunas do Paraná, perceive Mathematical Modeling for their learning. From the general objective we delimit the specific objective: to analyze if the Mathematical Modeling provided different perceptions of those that the student already had in relation to the way Mathematics was worked in the classroom through the didactic books and now with the participation in the elaboration and resolution of activities. In a qualitative approach, research brings the theoretical reference on the subject with the conceptions of some authors in relation to Mathematical Modeling and its contributions to Mathematical Education. The research points to the possibility of methodologically using Mathematical Modeling as a strategy for the apprehension of mathematical contents, using as basis the results obtained by the group of twenty-five students of the third year of high school. The present research was used of interviews, analysis of materials produced by the researched students, observation and focal group. The subjects of the research were twenty-five students who formed the third series of the High School of a public school of the Municipality of Tunas of Paraná. The main interlocutors used to support this research were the teachers: Ubiratan D 'Ambrósio, Maria Salett Biembengut, Rodney Bassanezi, Jonei Cerqueira Barbosa and Dionísio Burak.
