Abstract

Resumo: Esta pesquisa pretende discutir o fluxo internacional de comunicação na era da globalização. Ao analisar as redes de TV BBC, CNN e Globo News, busca-se traçar um perfil editorial desses veículos e entender quais foram as matérias pautadas durante o período de observação dos telejornais BBC World News Today, CNN World News e Jornal das Dei, Em um período de internacionalização da mídia, é importante esclarecer o papel do telejornalismo na formulação de uma agenda social, em especial da rede CNN, que incorporou o príncipe eletrônico da aldeia global. Assim, traça-se um histórico das redes de TV, analisam-se os estilos adotados e as influências de padrões internacionais no jornalismo brasileiro

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to examine and inquire into the international news flow. This paper also analyses the TV networks CNN, BBC and Globo News in arder to define the multiple approaches of editorial profiles, and what were the stories broadcasted during the period of analyses by BBC World News Today, CNN World News and Jornal das Dez. Focusing on this ongoing process of media internationalization, it is important to study the agenda setting process, especially the CNN case, which is now the "príncipe eletrônico" of global village. ln the nutshell, it is important to set out the networks history and also discuss what are the significant and comprehensive impacts international news style that have reached brazilian TV journalism patterns
