O impacto do isolamento social durante a pandemia do COVID-19 nos casos de violência doméstica contra mulher e o feminicídio

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho objetiva analisar o impacto do isolamento social decorrente da pandemia de COVID-19 sobre a violência doméstica contra a mulher e os casos de feminicídio, com ênfase nas mudanças provocadas sobre dinâmicas sociais e domésticas. Por meio de uma investigação aprofundada, busca-se compreender a relação entre o aumento das taxas de violência e os fatores socioeconômicos emergentes durante o período de confinamento. O trabalho analisa dados estatísticos que ilustram o aumento de denúncias de violência doméstica e feminicídios, correlacionando-os com o estresse econômico e social sofrido pelas famílias. Especial atenção é dada à análise de como essas dinâmicas podem ter amplificado desigualdades já existentes e contribuído para a intensificação da opressão de gênero, segundo as normas de controle e poder manifestadas durante o isolamento. A pergunta central que guia esta pesquisa é: "Como o impacto do isolamento social durante a pandemia do COVID-19 influenciou nos casos de violência doméstica contra a mulher e no feminicídio?"

Abstract: The present work aims to analyze the impact of social isolation resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic on domestic violence against women and cases of femicide, with an emphasis on the changes caused in social and domestic dynamics. Through an in-depth investigation, we seek to understand the relationship between the increase in violence rates and the socioeconomic factors emerging during the confinement period. The research analyzes statistical data that illustrate the increase in reports of domestic violence and feminicides, correlating them with the economic and social stress suffered by families. Special attention is given to the analysis of how these dynamics may have amplified existing inequalities and contributed to the intensification of gender oppression, according to the norms of control and power manifested during isolation. The central question that guides this research is: "How did the impact of social isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic influence cases of domestic violence against women and femicide?"
