Ao extremo sul : a cobertura jornalística paranaense sobre a maior tragédia climática no RS

Abstract

Resumo : Este trabalho destaca a cobertura jornalística das enchentes que atingiram o Rio Grande do Sul (RS) entre abril e maio de 2024 e as formas de produzir reportagens em meio à tragédia climática. A ligação regional, histórica, cultural e socioeconômica com o Paraná, tornou a cobertura mais intimista que outras realizadas por demais regiões do país. A partir disso, nasce uma web reportagem sob a perspectiva dos repórteres paranaenses em relação à cobertura do desastre gaúcho. A iniciativa, realizada em formato de webreportagem longform, conta o que ocorreu no RS e relata, através de três perfis jornalísticos, a vivência, cobertura e trajetória de Ricardo Vilches, da RICtv, Vanessa Rumor, da RPC TV e Brayan Valêncio, da Jovem Pan News Paraná. Abstract : This article highlights the journalistic coverage of the floods that hit Rio Grande do Sul (RS) between April and May 2024 and the ways of producing reports in the midst of a climate tragedy. The regional, historical, cultural and socioeconomic connection with Paraná made the coverage more intimate than others carried out by many regions of the country. From this, a web report was born from the perspective of reporters from Paraná in relation to the coverage of the disaster in Rio Grande do Sul. The initiative, carried out in the format of a longform web report, tells what happened in RS and reports, through three journalistic profiles, the experience, coverage and trajectory of Ricardo Vilches, from RICtv, Vanessa Rumor, from RPC TV and Brayan Valêncio, from Jovem Pan News Paraná.
