Redução de desperdício de madeira na colheita florestal através de desenvolvimento operacional : um estudo de caso

Abstract

Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho é quantificar o desperdício de madeira na área em uma operação de colheita com o sistema full tree, para entender os ganhos com a aplicação de treinamento focado no desenvolvimento da visão crítica dos líderes. Os dados foram coletados em parcelas em campo após o arraste da madeira e antes do processamento das toras em duas fases, uma prévia e outra posterior ao treinamento, não quantificando o desperdício de processamento, devido ao risco de segurança uma vez que tais resíduos ficam agrupados nas bordas dos talhões. Nas parcelas foram coletadas somente as toras com comprimento e diâmetro padrão de aproveitamento para indústria/comércio. Os resultados mostraram-se satisfatórios pois houve um ganho nos resultados das amostras coletados antes e após o treinamento.

Abstract: The objective of this work is to quantify the waste of wood in the area in a harvesting operation with the full tree system, to understand the gains with the application of training focused on the development of the critical vision of the leaders. The data were collected in plots in the field after pulling the wood and before processing the logs in two phases, one before and the other after training, not quantifying the processing waste, due to the safety risk, since such residues are grouped together at the edges of the stands. In the plots only the logs with standard length and diameter for use in industry/trade were collected. The results were satisfactory because there was a gain in the results of the samples collected before and after training.
