Desigualdades socioespaciais no contexto escolar : um estudo de caso em Almirante Tamandaré

Abstract

Resumo : O presente trabalho refere-se ao estudo sobre desigualdades territoriais no município de Almirante Tamandaré - PR, localizado na região metropolitana de Curitiba. Pretendeu-se por meio deste investigar as percepções de gestores da Secretaria Municipal de Educação a respeito das condições de oferta de educação infantil e ensino fundamental nas diferentes regiões da cidade, bem como, compreender de que forma a Secretaria Municipal de Educação e Cultura (SMEC) trabalha com os territórios e suas demandas. Além disso, buscou-se compreender de que forma o território pode agir sobre a qualidade da educação e se existem - e quais são - as desigualdades entre as escolas situadas no mesmo município. Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa empírica adotou-se uma abordagem qualitativa, construindo um estudo de caso a partir de dados coletados por meio de entrevista. O trabalho foi dividido em quatro etapas que se complementam, tendo início com a revisão teórica acerca da temática de desigualdades territoriais, seguida pelo levantamento de dados a fim de caracterizar o município, bem como, a educação presente no mesmo, a entrevista com a equipe gestora da SMEC e, por fim, as conclusões alcançadas durante a realização da pesquisa.

Abstract: This work refers to the study of territorial inequality in the county of Almirante Tamandaré- PR, located in the metropolitan area of Curitiba. It was intended through this work to investigate the managers perceptions of the municipal office of education regarding the Kindergarten and elementary school conditions in different regions of the city, as well as to understand how the municipal office of education and culture (SMEC) works with territories and demands. In addition, we sought to understand how the territory can act on the educational quality, and if they exist, which are the inequalities between schools in the same locality. For the development of empirical research, a qualitative approach was adopted, building a case study from data collected through interviews. This capstone project was divided into 4 stages that complements each other. The first was the theoretical basis on territorial inequality, the second was the municipal data, in order to characterize the county , and how the education is in this place, the third the interviews with the municipal managers, and finally the conclusions reached during this research.
