Abstract: The present work was developed with the aim to evaluate the effects of the taeda Pine cultivation on a RED LATOSSOLO, using an area covered with natural vegetation (ombrofila mixed forest), located in Mangueirinha, state of Parana, which belongs to Conguasul Industria de Placas. For each experiment, it was collected 30 samples to make the chemical analyses at the deepness of 0-20, 20-40, 40-60, 60-80, 80-100 cm, besides 10 more samples to physical analyses and it was checked out the real soil deepness of the sample units with three holes of soil for each experiment, that reached the average deepness of 250cm. In the collected soil samples, it was determined substances of P, K, Ca, Mg, pH, organic matter, bases saturation and aluminium saturation. There were not great differences in the physical accuracy of the soil. In the chemical evaluation, there were not great changes to the base saturation, pH, organic matter, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium in the soil deepness from 0 to 100cm. Great changes were observed to the potassium at the deepness from 0 to 20cm, to the CTC at the soil deepness from 20 to 40cm and to the aluminium at the deepness from 40 to 60cm. In both treatment, in a general way and having the statistical analyze as a standard, there weren't great changes in the chemical and physical properties of the soil cultivated with Pinus, in this conditions of climate and soil, what happened was that small changes, specially in the possium element and in the values of the CTC and aluminium saturation the greatest in the soil cultivated with Pinus.
