Impactos da silvicultura na metade sul do estado do Rio Grande do Sul

Abstract

Este trabalho procurou evidenciar a evolução da silvicultura no estado do Rio Grande do Sul, salientando os reflexos desse cultivo na região central do estado. No aspecto econômico, a evolução ocorrida nos últimos dez anos, mostrou a importância dessa atividade econômica. No campo social, a geração de empregos na silvicultura é evidente, seja ela na propriedade rural, com a fixação da mão-de-obra familiar através de programas de fomento florestal, seja nas empresas especializadas na implantação de florestas. A abordagem ambiental e institucional mostrou que existe discordância na interpretação da legislação vigente, onde os órgãos licenciadores não têm a agilidade necessária ao atendimento das necessidades empresariais. Ainda existe um caminho a ser percorrido pelas empresas florestais para mostrar as vantagens econômicas, sociais e ambientais do plantio de florestas no estado do Rio Grande do Sul.

This work looked for to evidence the evolution of forestry in the state of the Rio Grande do Sul, being pointed out the consequences of this culture in the central region of the state. ln the economic aspect, the passed evolution in last the ten years, showed the importance of this economic activity. ln the social field, the generation of jobs in forestry is evident, either it in the country property, with the setting of the familiar man power through programs of forest promotion, or in the companies specialized in the implantation of forests. The environmental and institutional boarding showed that discord in the interpretation of the current law exists, where the organs licensee does not have the necessary agility to the attendance of the enterprise necessities. Still a way exists to be covered forest companies to show to the economic, social and environment advantages of the plantation of forests in the state of the Rio Grande do Sul.
