Relações interpessoais no espaço escolar : implicações educacionais
Abstract : The proposal of this work is to understand the impact of interpersonal relations in the teaching and learning processes of teenagers at high school. Following the Vygotskyana perspective, it can be understood that the interaction between the students is determinant on the individual development. According the scope presented above, this research has identified two tendencies related to the educational agents, conduct of actors, leadership style, respect, affectivity, and moral values; and educational implications of interpersonal relations, these associated to school performance. As empirical research, a case study has been proposed. From a mixed approach, by integrating qualitative and quantitative researches, descriptive and exploratory data acquisition was performed by using two (opened and closed) questionnaires. A total amount of 76 students and 6 teachers have been participated of this study, all of them from a public high school institution at Paraná state, Brazil. By considering the participants answers, the analysis was developed under the five dimensions of the scholar climate which has been proposed by Janosz, Georges e Parent (1998). The research showed that the relations stablished during the high school period are worn out from many aspects available on the actors performance at the educational context, where it can be cited the violence between them and the students’ insecurity feeling. In the other way, classes are classified by a considerable amount of students as monotonous and uninteresting. The interactions between teachers and students, that are stablished in this specific space, should be redirected by all individuals involved, in order to provide the required quality of relations and the adequate development of the learning process which is offered in schools.
