Educação e natureza feminina no século das luzes : Sophie de Rousseau x Émilie du Châtelet

Resumo: O presente trabalho monográfico tem por objetivo monstrar como acontecia a educação feminina no século das luzes. A caracterização do ser feminino ainda é mitíficado quando analisado a partir de sua essência e sua natureza; afinal "o que é uma mulher?" Esta pergunta levantada por Elisabeth Badinter, em seu livro O que é uma mulher, levanta possibilidades para pesquisas que recaem sobre a forma pela qual o gênero feminino deve ou não ser compreendido, observados através da educação e modos de ser, na maioria das vezes impostos pela sociedade a partir da concepção de uma mulher ideal a ser produzida por toda a sociedade. Ao se observar a relação entre a história e a filosofia no século das Luzes, percebe-se alguns fatos marcantes para a compreensão da condição da mulher, principalmente pelo olhar da Igreja. Neste século, a criança de gênero feminino já traçava novos objetivos para ser retratada como ser humano com força e vontade, imprimindo ao livre-arbítrio a força de sua ação junto à sociedade. É neste ponto que a natureza feminina aflora. Seja por vontade imposta pelos moldes de uma sociedade regida pelos costumes masculinos, seja pela vertente que surge, entre os séculos XVII e XVIII principalmente na França, onde o gênero feminino mostra sua capacidade intelectual e seus feitos na sociedade política. Ao confrontar a personagem roussoniana imaginária de Sophie com a ilustre dama da sociedade francesa a Émilie do Châtelet trazemos à luz os conflitos entre o ideal e o real se produzindo. Sophie nos apresenta o ideal cultural, estruturando-se através dos elementos de uma mulher cuja natureza é ser esposa e servir ao seu marido, através do cuidando de uma casa; já a Émilie do Châtelet representa a mulher madura, que compreende suas funções como esposa de um líder político e militar, e que a partir do conhecimento e da educação transformou sua vida e todos aqueles que a rodeavam, abrindo as portas da intelectualidade feminina nas academias de ciência. A partir deste momento histórico e filosófico temos a cultura dos salões, onde a educação buscava romper os limites do conhecimento, tudo isso regido por mulheres esclarecidas que buscavam a liberdade e o reconhecimento dentro da comunidade científica. Abstract: This monograph aims to demonstrate how happened female education in the Enlightenment . Characterization of being female is still mythologized when analyzed from its essence and its nature , after all "what is a woman ? " The question raised by Elisabeth Badinter , in his book What is a woman , raises possibilities for research that fall about the way females should or should not be understood , observed through education and ways of being , most of the time imposed by society from the conception of an ideal woman to be produced by the whole society . By observing the relationship between history and philosophy in the Enlightenment , one realizes some important facts to understanding the status of women , especially through the eyes of the Church . In this century , the female child has charted new goals to be portrayed as a human being with strength and will , printing free will the strength of their action in society . This is where the feminine nature emerges . Will be imposed by the mold of a society governed by the customs men , is the aspect that arises between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries mainly in France , where the female shows his intellectual capacity and his achievements in political society . By confronting roussoniana imaginary character Sophie a distinguished lady of French society Émilie du Châtelet bring to light the conflict between the ideal and the real is producing . Sophie shows us the cultural ideal , is structured through the elements of a woman whose nature is to be a wife and serve her husband , by taking care of a house ; already Émilie du Châtelet is a mature woman who understands his duties as a wife a political and military leader , and from knowledge and education transformed his life and all those around her , opening the doors of the feminine intellect in science academies .
