Análise das recomendações educacionais de Aristóteles

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho é uma análise das considerações educacionais de Aristóteles, o filósofo apontava que a educação deveria estar pautada por duas premissas fundamentais: a primeira que a educação deveria ser uma das principais preocupações de um governante e estar harmonizada com a constituição da cidade. A segunda que os cidadãos deveriam ser educados por meio, de atitudes éticas para que pudessem ter uma vida feliz. O texto também aborda o contexto histórico da educação na Grécia clássica no século IV a.C.; recomendações práticas que o pensador indicava para a formação das crianças e dos jovens do período.

Abstract: The present work is an analysis of the educational considerations of Aristotle, the philosopher pointed out that education should be guided by two fundamental premises: first that education should be a major concern of a ruler and be harmonized with the constitution of the city. The second citizens should be educated by means of ethical attitudes so that they could have a happy life. The text also discusses the historical context of education in classical Greece in the IV century BC; practical recommendations that the thinker indicated for the formation of children and young people of the period.
