O período pré-ditadura : de Juscelino a Goulart

Abstract

Resumo: Após cinquenta anos do golpe militar no Brasil, o assunto tornou-se popular novamente, incitando diversas discussões na área. No entanto, para entender o golpe especificamente é necessário entender um pouco da trajetória do país até aquele momento. A presente monografia tem por objetivo relatar os anos que antecederam o golpe militar de 1964 descrevendo os anos da presidência de Juscelino Kubitschek, Jânio Quadros e João Goulart, assim como um relato do início da crise dos anos 1960. Utiliza-se, para tanto, um quadro selecionado de autores que destacam tanto aspectos políticos como econômicos daquele período, buscando a maior fidelidade possível com os fatos ocorridos, assim como um maior esclarecimento sobre o período.

Abstract: After fifty years of the military coup in Brazil, it has become popular again, prompting several discussions in the area. However, to understand specifically the coup is necessary to understand a bit about the trajectory of the country so far. This monograph aims to report the years preceding the 1964 military coup, describing the years of the presidency of Juscelino Kubitschek, Quadros and João Goulart, as well as an account of the beginning of the crisis of the 1960s. Shall be used for both, selected a cadre of authors that highlight both political and economic aspects of the period, seeking the highest possible fidelity to the facts, as well as greater insight into the period.
