Prazer, sofrimento e riscos de adoecimento na linha de produção : um estudo de caso em uma empresa do setor automotivo da Região Metropolitana de Curitiba

Abstract

Resumo: A pesquisa aqui apresentada constitui um estudo de caso em uma empresa do setor automotivo da região metropolitana de Curitiba que é denominada de Gama, no qual se objetiva reconhecer e analisar as relações entre o contexto de trabalho na linha de produção de 3 fábricas que compõe esta empresa e as vivências de prazer, sofrimento e adoecimento e estratégias defensivas colocadas em prática pelos rabalhadores que nela trabalham para suportar o sofrimento. Para tanto ao longo do trabalho descreve-se a evolução histórica das configurações de produção no setor automotivo até sua atual configuração explicitando: (i) a caracterização do setor no Brasil, sua evolução histórica até sua atual configuração na região metropolitana de Curitiba (RMC); (ii) A atual situação econômica, pontuada pela crise vivenciada em 2008-2009 tanto em âmbito global como seus impactos locais nas empresas do setor automotivo da RMC, e (iii) a caracterização da Gama e seu atual contexto de trabalho. Apresenta-se a seguir a avaliação dos trabalhadores da linha de produção da empresa Gama em relação ao contexto de trabalho e aos processos de subjetivação representados pelas vivências de prazer e sofrimento, pelos custos e danos elacionados ao trabalho e pelas estratégias de defesa por ele utilizadas. Por fim apresenta-se uma discussão em que se reconhecem e analisam as relações entre os processos de subjetivação identificados e o contexto de trabalho na linha de produção da empresa Gama. O embasamento epistemológico que guia a pesquisa é o materialismo histórico, as fundamentações teóricas que embasam as análises são a Economia Política do Poder e a Psicodinâmica do Trabalho e o método de pesquisa é o dialético. O design de pesquisa adotado é o estudo de caso descritivo e analítico, de corte temporal seccional e erspectiva longitudinal, com utilização de métodos qualitativos (entrevistas e observações) e quantitativos (Inventário de Trabalho e Riscos de Adoecimento) de coleta de dados. O nível de análise é rganizacional, uma vez que se pretende analisar como características da estrutura organizacional se relacionam com processos de subjetivação de trabalhadores nela inseridos, sendo os indivíduos, portanto, a unidade de análise.

Abstract: The research here presented is a case study of an automotive company located at Curitiba's metropolitan region which will be called Gama. The objective of this case study is to recognize and analyze relationships between the work context provided by three of its factories and processes of subjectivity of workers. These processes can be visualized through the speech of these workers about their experiences of pleasure and suffer at work, and in the defenses strategies that this workers use to be able to bare this suffer. To accomplish this objective the following steps are taken: (i) first it’s described the historical evolution of the production configurations assumed by the automotive industry through the years till its current configuration at Curitiba's metropolitan region. At this point is also presented a characterization of the current economic situation, marked by the 2008-2009 crisis, which has affected companies all over the world and had a substantial impact on the automotive business. To finalize this section is presented a characterization of the work context at Gama. (ii) The second step nvolves the presentation of the evaluations that Gama's workers made about their work context, and how this context relates to their experiences of pleasure and suffer at work, as well as the defense strategies that they use to be able to bear that suffer. (iii) At last it’s presented the discussion and conclusions regarding the issue that guides this research in which are analyzed the relations between the work contexts found at Gama e the processes of subjectivity of workers. The epistemological base of this research is the Historical Materialism, and its theoretical undamentals are The Psychodynamics of Work and The Political Economy of Power, and the method adopted is the dialectical. The design of this research is the descriptive and analytical case study, the temporal approach is sectional and the temporal perspective is longitudinal. For the gather of data methods qualitative (interviews and observations) and quantitative (Inventory of work and risks of illnesses) of research are used. The analysis level is organizational, since the objective is to analyze how work context relates to processes of subjectivity of workers, and the individuals are the unit of analysis
