Um cale-se que ensaia retorno : a militância estudantil paranaense em tempos de ditadura

Abstract

Resumo: Este estudo busca fazer a análise histórica do movimento estudantil paranaense com foco nos 21 anos da Ditadura Militar e no processo de redemocratização. Reconhecendo o papel central da juventude nas lutas sociais, a pesquisa destaca a atuação dos estudantes da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), da Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL) e suas respectivas entidades de representação estudantil, bem como os Centros e Diretórios Acadêmicos e o Diretório Central dos Estudantes (DCE). O trabalho investiga também as representações históricas da União Nacional dos Estudantes (UNE) e da União Paranaense dos Estudantes (UPE) e como essas organizações enfrentaram a repressão, lutaram por uma educação pública de qualidade e atuaram como agentes de transformação social. Com o objetivo de resgatar e reconstruir a história do movimento estudantil paranaense em tempos de ditadura, a presente pesquisa propõe a produção de um livro-reportagem, focando no perfil de resistência de seis militantes que estiveram à frente das mobilizações estudantis no Paraná

Abstract: This study aims to conduct a historical analysis of the student movement in the state of Paraná, focusing on the twenty-one years of the Military Dictatorship and the subsequent process of redemocratization. Recognizing the central role played by young people in social struggles, the research highlights the activities of students from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and the State University of Londrina (UEL), as well as their respective representative bodies: Academic Centers, Academic Directories, and the Central Students’ Directory (DCE). The work also examines the historical trajectory and representations of the National Union of Students (UNE) and the Paraná Union of Students (UPE), analyzing how these organizations confronted state repression, fought for quality public education, and acted as agents of social transformation. With the goal of recovering and reconstructing the history of the student movement in Paraná during the dictatorship, this research proposes the production of a book-length report, centered on the profiles of resistance of six activists who led student mobilizations in Paraná during that period
