Utilização da agroecologia como ferramenta para o desenvolvimento sustentável da produção animal no assentamento Fazenda São Fidélis

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho teve o objetivo de diagnosticar a produção animal no assentamento Fazenda São Fidélis, localizado no município de São Fidélis, Noroeste do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Através de reunião e entrevista semiestruturada, aplicada às famílias em seus lotes, foram levantados os principais problemas e entraves na produção apontados pelos assentados, como o alto custo e gasto com medicação e o impacto que a produção animal vem causando ao meio ambiente. Além disso, este trabalho faz uma breve abordagem da produção animal, sua relação com os pequenos agricultores e com agroecologia, ressaltando principalmente qual o conhecimento desses pequenos agricultores sobre o tema agroecologia e fazendo um paralelo das práticas atuais utilizadas por eles com as práticas alternativas propostas pela agroecologia. A agroecologia é um modo de vida e trabalha nas três esferas, economicamente viável, socialmente justo e ecologicamente correto, ela tem o objetivo de resgatar o homem do campo sua cultura, porém esse trabalho vai alcançar somente uma das esferas, trabalhando com a produção animal dentro do assentamento. Por último, apresentam-se algumas sugestões de capacitação, com práticas alternativas, baseadas na ciência agroecológica, para a produção animal no assentamento, visando fazer um trabalho pontual dentro do assentamento com o objetivo de melhoria do meio ambiente e também diminuição dos custos com a produção animal, diminuindo a dependência de insumos externos

Abstract: The present work has the objective to evaluate the animai production in the resettlement São Fidélis Farm, located in the city of São Fidélis, on the Northwest region of Rio de Janeiro State, through meetings and half-structured interview, applied to families in its lots, the main problems and impedíments in the production had been raised pointed by the seated ones, as the high cost and expense with medication and the impacts that the animai production comes causing to the environment. Moreover, this work makes one brief boarding of the animal production, its relation with the small agriculturists and agro-ecology, standing out mainly which the knowledge of these small agriculturists on the subject practical agroecologia and making a parallel of the current ones used by them with the practical alternatives proposals for the agroecologia. The agroecologia is a life way and works in the three spheres, economically viable, socially just and ecoiogically correct, it it has the objective to rescue the man of the field its culture, however this work goes to reach only one of the spheres inside, working with the animal production of the nesting.. Finally, some suggestions of qualification are presented, with practise alternatives, established in agro-ecologic Science, for the animal production in the resettlement, aiming at to inside make a prompt work of the resettlement with the objective of improvement of the environment and also reduction of the costs with the animal production, diminishing the dependence of externai producinginputs
