Direito à educação e raça : breves considerações sobre os reflexos do racismo estrutural nas instituições de ensino do Estado do Paraná

Abstract

Resumo : O presente trabalho suscita a discussão acerca dos reflexos do racismo estrutural na operacionalidade da instituição de ensino do Paraná. A partir da observação histórica do tratamento conferido à educação pelas constituições brasileiras, analisam-se os reflexos da noção moderna de raça na estruturação da rede de ensino nacional, bem como na construção de política de memória paranaense e nas diretrizes educacionais dispostas pelo Estado do Paraná. Constatou-se que, ao se inserir numa sociedade estruturada para reproduzir mecanismos de exclusão, a instituição de ensino não apenas reflete o meio que integra, como também fornece as condições subjetivas necessárias para a manutenção do racismo, podendo servir como meio de reiterar privilégios estruturalmente estabelecidos para certos grupos de indivíduos em detrimento de outros.

Abstract: I raise a discussion about the reflexes of structural racism in the operationality of the educational institution of Paraná. From the historical observation of the treatment given to education by the Brazilian constitutions, we analyze the reflections of the modern notion of race in the structuring of the national education network, as well as in the construction of paraná memory policy and in the educational guidelines performed by the State of Paraná. It was found that, by inserting itself in a structured society to reproduce exclusion mechanisms, the educational institution not only reflects the environment it integrates, but also provides the subjective conditions necessary for the maintenance of racism, and can serve as a means of reiterating structurally established privileges for certain groups of individuals to the detriment of others.
