Abstract: This investigation is part of the "Teacher Training and Fundamentals of Educational Practice" line of research, developed under the "Postgraduate Program in Education: Theory and Teaching Practice" of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). The research problem is the understanding of how the pedagogical projects of courses (PPC) related to the National Program for the Integration of Basic Education to Professional Education in the Youth and Adult Education Modality (PROEJA) of the Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR) integrate High School to Professional Education. Our main goal is to analyze the pedagogical projects of the PROEJA courses from the Federal Institute of Paraná seeking to identify the elements that enable or hinder the integration of High School to Professional Education. Our theoretical framework was based on Kuenzer (2007a), Kuenzer (2007b) Lima Filho (2010), Laffin (2018), Gonçalves (2012), Pacheco (2010), Freire (1986, 1987,1996), Sacristàn (2000, 2013), Lopes (2006) , Silva (2005), Vasconcelos (2011), Haracemiv (1994), Ciavata and Ramos (2012), among other researchers who study Youth and Adult Education, Professional Education and curriculum. This research is qualitative, exploratorydescriptive and documentary. It is characterized by an action research, whose results were presented and discussed with participants during an online conversation, available at https://youtu.be/S_iO5zinBM4. During the intervention phase, we made use of digital media, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The participants were students and teachers of the three campuses that offered/offer PROEJA courses at IFPR in 2019 and 2020: Campo Largo, Colombo and União da Vitória. When it comes to data collection instruments, questionnaires, course reports and PPC were used. The analysis of the data was based on the assumptions of Aguiar & Ozella (2013), whereby the speeches of all participants were taken collectively and categorized, which enabled the process of apprehension of the meanings constituted by the subjects, in a sociohistorical perspective. Our findings revealed that IFPR needs to consolidate PROEJA as an institutional policy and prioritize actions such as specific training for educators who work with this public, create structural conditions to serve the students, create policies in order to reduce student evasion, in addition to being the mediator between the prescribed (idealized) curriculum and the actual curriculum. As results, it was possible to reveal that the concept of education prescribed in IFPR's pedagogical projects is based on the perspective of integral human development and brings interdisciplinarity as a methodological alternative to integrate High School to Professional Education in PROEJA courses, in addition to working with integration projects and themes. It is clear however that what is idealized in the PPC does not reflect what is actually put into action, at least it doesn't guarantee student permanence, considering there were more than 80% of student evasion in the courses that had already been completed. Keywords: PROEJA. Curriculum. Evasion. PPC. Demand and Supply.
