Productive efficiency is directly related to feed conversion; in this context, it is fundamental to know and understand the accessory glands of the digestive system and their respective enzymatic productions. Therefore, this project aimed to produce models of the morphological, topographical, and functional characteristics of the accessory glands (liver and pancreas) of the digestive system of Gallus gallus. This work was developed by students of the Animal Science course at the Federal University of Paraná, in the Comparative Anatomy of Domestic Animals (BA066) course, linked to the extension project "Knowing, respecting and producing birds: didactic and alternative models in the teaching and learning process". For better understanding, three models were produced: (1) Liver and adjacent structures; (2) Liver and accessory structures; (3) Pancreas and adjacent structures.
