As 7 leis herméticas e sua relação com a ciência : o caibalion sob a luz da biologia

Abstract

Resumo : Ciência e filosofia estão juntas há muitos séculos, e é possível dizer que uma veio da outra, ou que outra veio de uma, mas é impossível separá-las. A filosofia hermética e seus 7 princípios universais, oriundos de Hermes Trismegistus – o antigo sábio egípcio – e apresentados no livro o Caibalion – Três Iniciados, precederam a ciência em alguns milênios. Pode-se dizer que a ciência tal qual conhecemos tem influências herméticas. No entanto, a partir dos rumos reducionistas tomados pela ciência, principalmente a partir dos séculos XVI e XVII, as semelhanças encontradas na natureza pela filosofia e ciências naturais foram substituídas por noções matemáticas mecânicas e absolutistas, relegando às coisas vivas a condição de peças em uma grande máquina cósmica. Uma possível relação entre os 7 princípios herméticos do mentalismo; correspondência; vibração; polaridade; ritmo; causa e efeito; gênero; e a ciência, surge num contexto moderno cujas descobertas quântica e relativística remodelaram o modo absoluto de ver a vida. Assim, retomam a noção de interações dinâmicas subjacentes, já exploradas pela filosofia antiga, e abrem portas para concepções sistêmicas da realidade, que pressupõem interações intrínsecas a todos os seres vivos como sistemas dinâmicos. Desse modo, a partir de uma visão científica do hermetismo ou hermética da ciência, foi possível traçar um diálogo entre ambos, por meio de um enfoque sistêmico e biológico, para o qual foi necessário a abordagem de diversos conceitos de outras áreas. Os resultados demonstram que, apesar dos muitos conceitos e distinções, a vida e sua complexidade podem ser mais simples do que parecem, sob um outro ponto de vista

Abstract : Science and philosophy have been together for many centuries, and it is possible to say that one came from the other, or that the other came from one, but it is impossible to separate them. Hermetic philosophy and its 7 universal principles, originating from Hermes Trismegistus – the ancient Egyptian sage – and presented in the book The Kybalion – Three Initiates, preceded science by some millennia. It can be said that science as we know it has hermetic influences. However, from the reductionist paths taken by science, mainly from the 16th and 17th centuries, the similarities found in nature by philosophy and natural sciences were replaced by mechanical and absolutist mathematical notions, relegating living things to the condition of parts in a great cosmic machine. A possible relationship between the 7 hermetic principles of mentalism; correspondence; vibration; polarity; rhythm; cause and effect; gender; and science, arise in a modern context whose quantum and relativistic discoveries have reshaped the absolute way of seeing life. Thus, they resume the notion of underlying dynamic interactions, already explored by ancient philosophy, and opening doors to systemic conceptions of reality, which presuppose intrinsic interactions to all living beings as dynamic systems. Thus, from a scientific view of hermeticism or the hermetics of science, it was possible to trace a dialogue between both, through a systemic and biological approach, for which it was necessary to approach several concepts from other areas. The results demonstrate that, despite the many concepts and distinctions, life and its complexity may seem simpler than it seems, from another point of view
