Orientações Básicas sobre nutrição de calopsitas

Abstract

This brochure addresses some basic nutritional issues related to cockatiel nutrition. It was prepared by students from the Animal Science Program at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), enrolled in the Introduction to Domestic Animal Anatomy course, linked to the extension project "Knowing, Respecting, and Breeding Birds: Didactic and Alternative Models in the Teaching-Learning Process." The objective of this brochure was to provide readers with information on the main nutritional sources that should be offered to cockatiels. It also provides some demystifications about these animals' nutrition, general tips on supplementation, and the ideal environment for food storage.
