    Resumo
Cockatiels are adorable birds that can become charming members of your family. Originating from the wild with a pattern, these birds have captivated the hearts of many over the years. However, when color mutations arise, they face survival challenges due to their increased visibility to predators. The variety of colors available today is the result of the dedicated work of breeders who have fixed mutations over time. Some of these mutations are relatively new, some even difficult to find in aviaries. This means that each cockatiel is truly unique, with a distinct combination of colors and patterns. Be enchanted by the diversity of colors and personalities that cockatiels offer. The purpose of this brochure was to describe some of the most commonly sold color patterns in Brazil for the community's knowledge. Additionally, this brochure includes a QR code, which allows the reader to access interesting facts about sexing, values, and more. This activity was carried out by students of the Introduction to Animal Anatomy course, from the Animal Science Course at UFPR, linked to the Extension Project "Knowing, Respecting and Producing Birds: Alternative Didactic Models in the Teaching-Learning Process".
