Casa da ciclovia e os desafios da agricultura urbana em Curitiba

Abstract

Resumo: As iniciativas de Agricultura Urbana em Curitiba passam por uma expansão, devido ao aumento do interesse da população e do apoio da atual gestão ao tema. Porém, tratando-se de iniciativas cidadãs, nem sempre institucionalizadas, existem desafios a serem superados. O objetivo do estudo foi descobrir quais são esses obstáculos, através de entrevistas semiestruturadas com lideranças ligadas ao poder público ou a espaços onde se pratica Agricultura Urbana. Portanto, a Casa da Ciclovia, tem grande relevância nessa caminhada, onde conversando com o representante do espaço e personagens da comunidade, foi possível entender quais as perspectivas para a sequência do projeto e quais a relação do mesmo com o movimento de Agricultura Urbana em Curitiba

Abstract: The Urban Agriculture initiatives in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, are expanding, due to increased public interest and the current management's support for the theme. However, when it comes to citizen initiatives, not always institutionalized, there are challenges to be overcome. The aim of the study was to discover what these obstacles are, through semi-structured interviews with leaders linked to the public authorities or to spaces where Urban Agriculture is practiced. Therefore, the House of The Bike Path, has great relevance in this walk, where talking to the representative of the space and characters of the community, it was possible to understand the perspectives for the sequence of the project and what is the relationship of the same with the urban agriculture movement in Curitiba
