A importância dos parâmetros fitossociológicos para o uso sustentável e conservação das florestas

Abstract

Resumo: A utilização indiscriminada e consequente descaracterização dos ecossistemas representam um dos maiores desafios na atualidade. Uma maneira de estudar o comportamento dos fragmentos é por meio da fitossociologia, ciência que tem como principal papel fornecer subsídios quanto às relações entre os indivíduos arbóreos e fatores ambientais dentro de determinada biota, com auxílio dos seus parâmetros de estrutura horizontal e vertical, os quais fornecem informações cruciais no sentido de se acumular um conhecimento suficiente para o manejo adequado, principalmente de florestas remanescentes. Sendo assim, uso sustentável deve ser a base para o manejo dos recursos florestais existentes, para a sobrevivência das florestas remanescentes e para a recuperação das florestas degradadas

Abstract: The indiscriminate use and consequent de-characterization of ecosystems represent one of the greatest challenges today. One way to study the behavior of the fragments is through phytosociology, a science whose main role is to provide subsidies regarding the relationships between arboreal individuals and environmental factors within a given biota, with the help of its horizontal and vertical structure parameters, which they provide crucial information in order to accumulate sufficient knowledge for the proper management, mainly of remaining forests. Therefore, sustainable use must be the basis for the management of existing forest resources, for the survival of the remaining forests and for the recovery of degraded forests
