dc.description.abstractThe Research Group on Gender and International Relations of the University of São Paulo (MaRIas) and the Bertha Lutz International Analysis Laboratory (LAI) carried out a mapping of public gender policies of the Government of the State of São Paulo under the scope of a Cooperation project Technique with the Government. During 6 months, meetings were held involving 15 researchers from the area of ​​International Relations and Political Science, 7 at undergraduate level, 1 at master's level and 7 at doctoral level, being supervised by Prof. Janina Onuki. The main objectives were: (1) to gather general information and data about the secretariat; (2) describe the main initiatives, programs, policies and/or sub-areas that contemplate some specific or at least indirect guideline on the gender issue; (3) understand how the Secretariat contributed to the achievement of SDG 5; (4) what were the “missed opportunities”.
