It has been 25 years since the creation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda. Onwards, the challenges faced by contemporary societies have become more complex: food insecurity, increasing poverty, limited natural resources, climate change, social inequalities, and so on.

In this scenario, highlighted by the pandemic, the social and scientific role of universities was put to the test and the importance of cooperation among different producers of knowledge to find solutions to face all the challenges became undeniable.

For this reason, Universidade Federal do Parana organized the first SEE-U: Sustainable Development Goals, a global scientific conference at UFPR. SEE-U aims to discuss ways to promote the engagement of universities, communities, and policymakers in creating strategies to tackle the global challenges faced by our world, by accomplishing the SDGs.

SEE-U: Sustainable Development Goals, a global scientific conference at UFPR will feature lectures by experts in the different fields in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) spectrum. The Conference is open to the public and there is no cost to attend and to submit papers as well.
