Pedagogia hospitalar : educação de crianças no hospital de clínicas de Curitiba-PR

Abstract

Resumo : A pedagogia hospitalar atende crianças, adolescentes e jovens da rede pública ou privada de ensino que estejam em tratamento de saúde por período curto, ou de longa duração. O Hospital de Clínicas oferece esse atendimento junto às Secretarias Municipal de Educação de Curitiba e Secretaria de Educação do Estado do Paraná. O objetivo deste estudo, realizado no departamento de Escolarização do Hospital é, acompanhar e analisar como é realizado o processo educativo na classe hospitalar. Os objetivos específicos são: acompanhar o trabalho escolar realizado com o aluno da Educação Infantil; analisar como se dá o processo de elaboração das atividades educativas no contexto hospitalar (modificações e adaptações dos conteúdos curriculares) quando necessária, e analisar os procedimentos para que se desenvolva um atendimento eficaz e dentro dos objetivos de inclusão da criança hospitalizada. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa bibliográfica, entre os autores usados podemos citar: Ceccim (1997); Fonseca (2003) e Fontes (2005); Observação em campo e entrevistas. Como resultados alcançados deste estudo além da oportunidade de acompanhamento de aluno (paciente pós-operatório) foi o de entender que planejamentos prévios e flexibilização curricular fazem parte para dinamizar a aprendizagem dos alunos-pacientes, e que o acompanhamento de todos os envolvidos para a inclusão e reestabelecimento do paciente também é de grande importância para um resultado eficaz e humanizado.

Abstract : The hospital pedagogy serves children, adolescents and young people in the public or private educational network who are in short or long term health treatment. The Hospital de Clínicas offers this service to the Municipal Secretaries of Education of Curitiba and the Secretary of Education of the State of Paraná. The purpose of this study, carried out in the Schooling Department of the Hospital more specifically in Early Childhood Education is to follow up and analyze how the educational process is performed in the hospital class. The specific objectives are: to accompany the pedagogical work carried out with the student of Infant Education; To analyze how the process of elaboration of educational activities in the hospital context (modifications and adaptations of the curricular contents) when necessary, and to analyze the procedures for the development of effective care and within the objectives of inclusion of hospitalized child. The methodology used was the bibliographical research, among the used authors we can mention: Ceccim (1997); Fonseca (2003) and Fontes (2005); Field observation and interviews. As results obtained from this study besides the opportunity of case follow-up (postoperative patient) was to understand that previous planning and curricular flexibilization are part of the dynamism of student-patient learning, and that the follow-up of all those involved for inclusion And patient reestablishment is also of great importance for an effective outcome.
