O espaço da música no processo de alfabetização : um estudo de caso em uma escola confessional

Abstract

Resumo : Este trabalho teve como metodologia um breve estudo bibliográfico juntamente a um estudo de caso que foi constituído por cinco objetivos: a) conhecer e refletir sobre as práticas pedagógicas realizadas pela instituição foco desse estudo; b) compreender as relações que permeiam a instituição e a visão dos sujeitos que a compõem acerca da utilização da música no espaço alfabetizador; c) analisar as contribuições que a música proporciona no processo de aprendizagem; d) perceber as formas de interação da música nas diversas atividades pedagógicas; e) observar a relação entre educandos e a cultura musical presente no ambiente escolar. A partir da realização da leitura de alguns autores e de observações no campo de pesquisa identificou-se um grupo cultural específico, onde a religiosidade se faz presente na comunidade e a música possuí forte ligação entre ambiente escolar e igreja. Nesse sentido, a música se estende também as práticas metodológicas aplicadas em sala de aula, bem como ao material didático utilizado nessa instituição. A partir disso, concluiu-se que existem grandes desafios em torno do processo de alfabetização, mas que a música pode surgir como facilitadora nesses momentos.

Abstract : The present research had as a methodology a brief bibliographic study together with a case study which was constituted by five objectives: a) know and reflect on the pedagogical practices carried out by the institution focus of this study; b) understand the relationships that permeate the institution and the view of the subjects that compose it about the use of music in the literacy space; c) analyze the contributions which music provides around the learning process; d) perceive the forms of interaction of music in the various pedagogical activities; e) observe the relationship between learners and the musical culture present in the school environment. From the reading of some authors and observations in the field of research, a specific cultural group was identified, where religiosity is present in the community and music has a strong connection between school environment and church. In this meaning, the music also extends to the methodological practices applied in the classroom, as well as to the didactic material used in this institution. From this, it was concluded that there are great challenges around the literacy process, however the music may be a facilitator in these moments.
