A matemática na Pré-escola : conteúdos, metodologia, interação e espaço físico

Abstract

Resumo : O presente trabalho tem como intuito verificar como a Matemática está sendo trabalhada em turmas da Pré-Escola da rede municipal de Curitiba, identificando a metodologia e recursos utilizados pela professora, o ambiente e as interações que ocorrem durante o processo de aprendizagem da criança. A metodologia da pesquisa caracteriza-se como do tipo qualitativa e descritiva, onde foi utilizado como instrumento um roteiro de observação e uma entrevista semi - estruturada. Para a realização da pesquisa, duas turmas de Pré-escola, de instituições distintas foram observadas durante a sua rotina, a fim de que fosse identificado todo o processo matemático realizado com as crianças, seguida por uma entrevista com a professora de cada turma. O interesse para a realização da pesquisa surge a partir de experiências em turmas da Pré-escola, onde foi constatado o pouco enfoque no momento de trabalhar a matemática com as crianças, houve então o interesse em analisar os objetivos que são propostos pelas Diretrizes Curriculares Municipais de Curitiba e o Referencial Curricular Nacional para a Educação Infantil para que a matemática seja trabalhada com a turmas de Pré-Escola. A partir da análise obtidas através do instrumento de pesquisa nota-se que o ensino da matemática na educação infantil necessita ser discutido afim de que os professores entendam a sua real importância nesta fase da criança e sigam as orientações que estão presentes nos documentos oficias da área, utilizando conteúdos mais lúdicos e assim evitando que as crianças criem um bloqueio com a matemática logo no início de seu processo de aprendizagem.

Abstract : The present work has as objective to verify how the math is being worked on in classes of kindergarten of the municipal network of Curitiba, identifying the methodology and resources used by the teacher, the environment and the interactions that occur during the learning process of the child. The research methodology is characterized as type in qualitative and descriptive, where it was used as a tool a road map of observation and a semi-structured interviews. For the accomplishment of the research, two classes of kindergarten, of different institutions were observed during your routine in order to be identified throughout the process a mathematician conducted with children, followed by an interview with the teacher for each class. The interest for the accomplishment of the research comes from experiences in classes from kindergarten, where it was found the little focus on time to work the math with children, then there was interest in analyzing the goals that are proposed by the Curriculum Guidelines of Curitiba and the, and the theoretical National Curriculum for Early Childhood Education for mathematics is worked with the divisions of kindergarten. From the analysis obtained through the survey instrument note the teaching of mathematics in early childhood education needs to be discussed in order that teachers understand their real importance at this stage of the child and follow the guidelines that are present in the official documents of the area, using content more playful and thus avoiding that children create a lock with the math right at the beginning of your learning process.
