Remição de pena pela leitura na ótica do (a) detento (a) leitor (a)

Abstract

Resumo : O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa exploratória, que tem como foco principal o Projeto remição de pena pela leitura em duas unidades prisionais do Paraná: a Penitenciária Feminina (PFP) e a Penitenciária Central do Estado – Unidade de Segurança (PCE-US), localizadas em Piraquara, Região Metropolitana de Curitiba. A pesquisa se propõe analisar o Projeto remição de pena pela leitura na ótica do (a) detento (a) leitor (a). Tendo em vista a relevância social do tema na perspectiva da ressocialização do sujeito privado de liberdade justifica-se, portanto, a investigação proposta. Este trabalho discute ainda, as competências que envolvem o ato de ler, a leitura como formação de valores, a libertação pela leitura, os critérios avaliativos na visão dos (as) detentos (as) leitores (as), os gêneros literários mais lidos e a participação do professor no processo de orientação, aprendizagem e avaliação. Os resultados obtidos revelam que o perfil dos (as) detentos (as) que participam do Projeto é extremamente jovem, de baixa escolaridade. Boa parte dos participantes já tinha o hábito de ler antes da prisão. Os dados apontam que os homens tem preferência na leitura de livros de romance, enquanto às mulheres preferem o gênero aventura. A abreviação da pena é o principal motivo elencado pelos pesquisados para participar do Projeto. A pesquisa mostra o que homens e mulheres pensam sobre os critérios avaliativos impostos e expõe que ambos os sexos não concordam com o fato de precisarem se limitar ao conteúdo do livro durante a escrita do texto, entre outros. Os resultados coletados demonstram a importância de se conhecer o perfil do sujeito privado de liberdade, a fim de traçar estratégias que possam ajudá-los a dar significado ao ato de ler e motivá-los a perceber a leitura no cárcere para além do ponto de vista legal da redução da pena

Abstract : The present study of the conclusion of the course presents the results of an exploratory research, whose main focus is the project of remission of sentence for reading in two prison units of Paraná: the Women's Penitentiary (PFP) and the State Central Penitentiary - Security Unit (PCE-US), located in Piraquara, Metropolitan Region of Curitiba. The research proposes to analyze the Project remission of sentence by the reading from the perspective of the reader (a). In view of the social relevance of the subject in view of the resocialization of the subject deprived of freedom, the proposed investigation is therefore justified. This work also discusses the skills that involve reading, reading as a formation of values, liberation through reading, evaluation criteria in the view of the readers, the most read literary genres and the teacher's participation in the orientation, learning and evaluation process. The results show that the profile of the detainees participating in the Project is extremely young, with low levels of schooling. Most of the participants already had a habit of reading before the arrest. The data indicate that men have a preference in reading romance books, while women prefer the adventure genre. The abbreviation of the sentence is the main reason listed by the respondents to participate in the Project. The research shows what men and women think about the evaluative criteria imposed and exposes that both sexes do not agree that they need to limit themselves to the contents of the book during the writing of the text, among others. The results collected demonstrate the importance of knowing the profile of the subject deprived of freedom, in order to devise strategies that can help them to give meaning to the act of reading and motivate them to perceive the reading in the jail beyond the point of view reduction of sentence.
