Pedagogia é curso de meninas ou de meninos também?

Abstract

Resumo : Esse trabalho monográfico discute a presença do gênero masculino no curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). A metodologia recorreu ao levantamento de dados estatísticos bem como a entrevistas com os acadêmicos homens de Pedagogia, que dispuseram de seu tempo para compartilhar suas valorosas experiências e visões sobre o curso. Analisamos a multiplicidade de acontecimentos que podem responder às indagações feitas por essa pesquisa, desde as influências por parte da família, piso salarial de diferentes profissões e os dados que compõe os censos escolares sobre a distribuição de gênero dentro das modalidades da Educação Básica. Para essa pesquisa contamos com a ajuda de teóricos da sociologia como Bourdieu e Passeron, da Filosofia com Judith Butlher e tantos outros que participam desse trabalho dando sustentação a forma como o mesmo constrói-se. Buscou-se analisar as atuações dos diferentes gêneros ao longo das etapas da Educação Básica, como Creche, Pré-Escola e Anos Iniciais. Concluirmos que o tema que esse trabalho de pesquisa suscita é de grande valor para compreensão da temática de gênero dentro e fora dos espaços escolares

Abstract : This monographic work discusses the presence of the masculine gender in the Pedagogy major of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). The methodology used the collection of statistical data as well as interviews with the academic men of Pedagogy, who took the time to share their valuable experiences and visions about the course. We analyze the mutiplicity of events that can answer the questions asked by this research, from the influences of the family, the wage floor of different professions and the data that compose the school census on the distribution of gender within the modalities of Basic Education. For this research we rely on the help of sociological theorists such as Bourdieu and Passeron, and from Philosophy with Judith Butlher and many others who participate in this work giving support to the way it is built. The aim of this study was to analyze the performances of the different genres along the modalities of Basic Education, such as Kindergarten, Pre-School and Initial Years. We conclude that the theme that this research evokes is of great value to understand how the gender dialogues inside and outside the school spaces
