Distribuição hoteleira na era da tecnologia da informação

Resumo : O presente estudo assume uma importância no contexto das Viagens e Turismo, o setor cuja dinâmica, é influenciada pelas Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TIC), tornando essencial compreender as estratégias de distribuição adotadas por empreendimentos hoteleiros e as mudanças causadas pelas TIC no marketing e na comercialização. O trabalho busca preencher uma lacuna ao oferecer uma análise das práticas de comercialização e distribuição hoteleira, identificando as ferramentas utilizadas e seus impactos na gestão e maximização de receitas. Ao focar na eficiência e eficácia da distribuição, o trabalho busca auxiliar novos empreendimentos a atingirem seu público-alvo, maximizarem a ocupação e a receita, e se adaptarem às mudanças contínuas no setor. Deste modo, o presente Projeto de Planejamento e Gestão em Turismo (PPGT), tem como objetivo geral propor a criação de um curso introdutório sobre Distribuição Hoteleira e Gestão de Receitas, a fim de apoiar pequenos negócios e profissionais do setor, a partir de analise bibliográfica e pesquisa de campo realizada com profissionais e empresas consolidadas na hotelaria nacional. Para atingir o objetivo geral, foram levados em conta os seguintes objetivos específicos: a) Caracterizar a atividade hoteleira e suas formas de comercialização; b) Discutir as transformações causadas no marketing hoteleiro a partir das tecnologias da informação e comunicação; e c) Analisar as principais ferramentas de distribuição do mercado hoteleiro. A pesquisa foi conduzida através de uma revisão bibliográfica abrangendo gestão e distribuição hoteleira, marketing e o impacto das TICs. Em seguida, por meio de pesquisa de campo e análise de dados, identificaram-se as principais ferramentas e estratégias de distribuição hoteleira e como a sua utilização e impacto afetam os hábitos de consumo e a comercialização dos serviços. Os resultados foram analisados e discutidos, culminando na elaboração de um curso introdutório e um plano de ação direcionados a novos estabelecimentos hoteleiros, com base nas estratégias de distribuição identificadas. Abstract : The present study holds significance in the context of Travel and Tourism, a sector whose dynamics are influenced by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), making it essential to comprehend the distribution strategies adopted by hotel enterprises and the changes caused by ICT in marketing and sales. The work aims to fill a gap by providing an analysis of hotel marketing and distribution practices, identifying the tools used and their impacts on management and revenue maximization. By focusing on the efficiency and effectiveness of distribution, the study seeks to assist new enterprises in reaching their target audience, maximizing occupancy and revenue, and adapting to ongoing industry changes. Thus, the present Tourism Planning and Management Project (TPMP) have the overall objective of proposing the creation of an introductory course on Hotel Distribution and Revenue Management to support small businesses and industry professionals. This is based on a literature review and field research conducted with professionals and established companies in the national hotel industry. To achieve this overall objective, the following specific objectives were considered: a) Characterize hotel activity and its forms of commercialization; b) Discuss the transformations caused in hotel marketing by information and communication technologies; and c) Analyze the main distribution tools in the hotel market. The research was conducted through a literature review covering hotel management and distribution, marketing, and the impact of ICT. Subsequently, through field research and data analysis, the main hotel distribution tools and strategies were identified, along with how their use and impact affect consumer habits and service marketing. The results were analyzed and discussed, culminating in the development of an introductory course and an action plan aimed at new hotel establishments based on the identified distribution strategies.
