O museu também ensina : exemplos de práticas educacionais em museus

Abstract

Resumo : O presente trabalho se propôs a expor as práticas educativas de cinco museus do Brasil como Trabalho de Conclusão do Curso Superior de Pedagogia da Universidade Federal do Paraná. Para tanto, além do breve resgate histórico dos museus no país, foi contemplada as diversas definições da função social da mesma e a descrição de uma prática educativa da região Norte, Nordeste, Centro-oeste, Sudeste e Sul do país. O relato destas experiências educativas em ambiente museal teve o intuito de reafirmar a característica que espaços não-escolares evidenciam a necessidade de articular o trabalho museológico com o pedagógico. Entre eles, percebeu-se a diversidade de publicação que retratam tais ações no espaço em questão, logo os(as) autores que foram as referências no que se refere as experiências educacionais. O trabalho permitiu refletir sobre as características e metodologias próprias das ações educativas que são realizadas em espaço museal, também é preciso considerar que tais práticas contribuem para a aproximação do museu com a comunidade.

Abstract : The present work set out to expose the educational practices of five museums in Brazil as the Conclusion Work of the Superior Course of Pedagogy of the Federal University of Paraná. In addition to the brief historical rescue of the museums in the country, the various definitions of the social function of the museum and the description of an educational practice of the North, Northeast, Midwest, Southeast and South of the country were considered. The report of these educational experiences in a museum environment had the purpose of reaffirming the characteristic that non-school spaces show the need to articulate the museological work with the pedagogical work. Among them, it was noticed the diversity of publications that portray such actions in the space in question, thus the authors who were the references in what refers to educational experiences. The work allowed to reflect on the characteristics and methodologies proper to the educational actions that are carried out in museum space, it is also necessary to consider that such practices contribute to the approximation of the museum with the community.
