Acesso à educação superior : uma perpectiva de expansão e equidade

Resumo : O presente trabalho analisa as desigualdades educacionais e o acesso à educação superior, construindo um panorama sobre o perfil dos estudantes matriculados, suas características, das Instituições de Educação Superior (IES) e os dados sobre acesso a políticas de financiamento estudantil e de apoio social. Para tanto, foi necessário compreender as mudanças históricas na educação superior no Brasil, estudando também o fato de que a educação escolar básica se tornou gradualmente um direito de todos após constantes lutas e resistências, possibilitando a ampliação do ingresso na educação superior, que não superou as características seletivas e meritocráticas deste nível de educação. O presente trabalho analisa como as ações afirmativas foram significativas para a democratização do acesso à educação superior, sendo as políticas públicas essenciais para que haja mudanças sociais. (SALATA, 2018; DUBET, 2011; CARDOSO, 2015). Este trabalho utilizou de uma metodologia quantitativa com caráter descritivo, construída a partir de dados do Censo da Educação Superior de 2019. As análises sobre o perfil dos estudantes da educação superior mostram resultados que indicam a existência de desigualdades complexas. Considera-se que as políticas educacionais são pontes de acesso à educação superior. Através dos resultados das análises de dados, este trabalho investiga a relação entre desigualdades educacionais e o acesso à educação superior, buscando compreender o perfil dos estudantes matriculados na educação superior Abstract : This paper analyzes educational inequalities and access to higher education, constructing an overview of the profile of enrolled students, their characteristics, of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and data on access to student financing and social support policies. Therefore, it was necessary to understand the historical changes in higher education in Brazil, also studying the fact that basic school education gradually became a right for everyone after constant struggles and resistance, enabling the expansion of entry into higher education, which did not exceed the selective and meritocratic characteristics of this level of education. This paper analyzes how the affirmative actions were significant for the democratization of access to higher education, and public policies are essential for social changes. (SALATA, 2018; DUBET, 2011; CARDOSO, 2015). This work used a quantitative methodology with a descriptive character, built from data from the Higher Education Census of 2019. The analyzes on the profile of higher education students show results that indicate the existence of complex inequalities. Educational policies are considered bridges of access to higher education. Through the results of data analysis, this work investigates the relationship between educational inequalities and access to higher education, seeking to understand the profile of students enrolled in higher education
