O uso do Youtube no Ensino Fundamental : desafios e possibilidades

Abstract

Resumo : O presente trabalho se propôs a pesquisar como é utilizado o Youtube no Ensino Fundamental, bem como identificar os desafios para implementar essa Tecnologia Digital de Informação e Comunicação (TDIC) no uso cotidiano e as potencialidades dessa tecnologia nesta etapa da educação básica. Para esse levantamento foi realizada uma revisão sistemática de trabalhos científicos que tratam do tema do TCC em bases de dados selecionadas. A intenção foi identificar, na produção científica de diversos pesquisadores, como o YouTube vem sendo utilizado no Ensino Fundamental e sua contribuição para a prática docente, bem como, descrever o YouTube como plataforma digital de compartilhamento de vídeos apresentando os desafios e as possibilidades encontradas para a utilização da plataforma no processo educativo. Para a seleção dos trabalhos científicos foram adotados os seguintes parâmetros: a) análise dos objetivos dos trabalhos a serem revisados, por exemplo: Uso do Youtube no Ensino Fundamental; b) os campos de observação, por exemplo: "trabalhos que apresentam a experiência docente em escolas públicas ou particulares"; c) as palavras-chave e os descritores, no caso: "Educação e Youtube" e "Ensino Fundamental e Youtube"; d) os critérios de inclusão e exclusão da pesquisa, por exemplo: "trabalhos publicados no ano de 2013 até junho/2020" e "que contenham as palavras-chave nos títulos". O capítulo de revisão de literatura apresenta uma breve descrição do que vem a er a plataforma YouTube e sua capacidade de uso enquanto uma TDIC. Em continuidade, foi realizada a investigação do uso do Youtube no Ensino Fundamental nas bases de dados (UFPR, Unicamp, USP, CAPES, BDTD e na plataforma Gloogle Scholar). Desta investigação, foram analisados os trabalhos de Quadros e Quadros (2013), Carvalho et. al (2017), Oliveira et. al (2017), Garcia (2018), Mota (2018), Almeida et. al (2018), Junges e Gatti (2019). Contribuíram na fundamentação teórica desta pesquisa os autores: Almeida (1994), Kenski (1998, 2003), Santaella (2003, 2005) e Valente (2005, 2013). Dentre os principais resultados, a pesquisa identificou a capacidade do YouTube no alcance, abrangência de temas e na diversidade de formatos na apresentação dos conteúdos, demonstrando a vastidão de ideias, sugestões e inspiração para os professores e alunos. Como forma inovadora, o compartilhamento de vídeos de forma facilitada pelo Youtube demonstrou ser positiva para o uso no campo educacional, cabendo aos professores promoverem a exploração e a reflexão, bem como incentivar a evolução da educação a partir das TDIC

Abstract : This work aimed to research how YouTube is used in Elementary Education, as well as to identify the challenges to implement this Digital Information and Communication Technology (TDIC) in everyday use and the potential of this technology in this stage of basic education. For this survey, a systematic review of scientific papers on the topic of CBT was carried out in selected databases. The intention was to identify, in the scientific production of several researchers, how YouTube has been used in Elementary Education and its contribution to teaching practice, as well as to describe YouTube as a digital video sharing platform presenting the challenges and possibilities found for the use of the platform in the educational process. For the selection of scientific papers, the following parameters were adopted: a) analysis of the objectives of the papers to be reviewed, for example: Use of Youtube in Elementary Education; b) the observation fields, for example: "works that present the teaching experience in public or private schools"; c) the keywords and descriptors, in this case: "Education e Youtube" and "Elementary Schoole Youtube"; d) the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the research, for example: "works published in the year 2013 until June / 2020" and "that contain the keywords in the titles". The literature review chapter presents a brief description of what the YouTube platform is and its ability to use as a TDIC. In continuity, the investigation of the use of Youtube in Elementary Education was carried out in the databases (UFPR, Unicamp, USP, CAPES, BDTD and on the Gloogle Scholar platform). From this investigation, the works of Quadros and Quadros (2013), Carvalho et. al (2017), Oliveira et. al (2017), Garcia (2018), Mota (2018), Almeida et. al (2018), Junges and Gatti (2019). The authors: Almeida (1994), Kenski (1998, 2003), Santaella (2003, 2005) and Valente (2005, 2013) contributed to the theoretical foundation of this research. Among the main results, the survey identified YouTube's ability to reach, cover topics and the diversity of formats in the presentation of content, demonstrating the vastness of ideas, suggestions and inspiration for teachers and students. As an innovative way, the sharing of videos facilitated by Youtube proved to be positive for use in the educational field, with teachers being responsible for promoting exploration and reflection, as well as encouraging the evolution of education based on TDIC
