Afetividade e autoestima na educação infantil

Abstract

Resumo : A grande maioria das pessoas reconhece a importância da autoestima e da afetividade quando questionados, porém são poucos os que sabem verdadeiramente a relevância e, principalmente, a dimensão que este tema pode trazer para umacriança. A fase em que uma criança se desenvolve é um momento crucial, sendo que a autoestima e a afetividade com relação às demais pessoas propulsionam suas aprendizagens e os rumos que toma seu desenvolvimento, podendo isso ser refletido por toda sua vida. O comportamento da criança na maioria das vezes é dirigido pela linguagem que o adulto utiliza e sabemos que a criança pode internalizar muito do que um adulto diz, tomando como verdade para si. Por isso, a relação com os adultos desde seu nascimento é crucial para a formação do seu autoconceito e de sua autoestima. Buscando compreender como o adulto pode afetar a autoestima de uma criança no período pré-escolar, essa pesquisa foi desenvolvida com objetivo principal de instigar os leitores sobre a importância da autoestima e da afetividade na educação infantil, apresentando o embasamento teórico de diversos autores sobre o assunto, bem como os resultados de uma pesquisa de campo com profissionais da área de Educação Infantil. O objetivo da pesquisa empírica foi fazer um levantamento do queas professoras entendem por afetividade e autoestima, e como trabalham isso em seu dia a dia. Os resultados obtidos mostram que todas as profissionais demonstram interesse por esse assunto, porém muitas não detêm conhecimento teórico-prático sobre ele, inclusive sobre a importância das relações afetivas e a influência que o professor pode ter na vida de uma criança; vindo, assim, ao encontro do que pesquisamos em nossa revisão de literatura.

Abstract : Most people recognize the importance of self-esteem and affectivity when asked, but there are few who truly know the relevance and especially the extent that this issue can bring to a child. The development phase is a crucial moment where self-esteem and affectivity can facilitate learning and the development of a person, and this can be reflected throughout his life. The child's behavior most of the time is driven by the language that the adult uses and we know that the child can internalize everything theadult says, taking as true for you. So the relationship with adults from birth is crucial for the formation of their self-concept and self-esteem. Trying to understand how the adult can affect self-esteem in the early years, this research was developed with the main objective to instill the importance of self-esteem and affectivity in early childhood education, presenting the theoretical basis of various authors on the subject, as well as the results of a search field with professionals in early childhood education. Theobjective of the research in the field was to do a survey of what teachers mean by affectivity and self-esteem, and how they work this into their daily lives. The results show that all professionals show interest in this subject, but many do not hold theoretical-practical knowledge about it, including their affective relationships with pupils, and the influence that teacher can have on a child's life, accordingly to what we searched in our literature review.
