Mídia e violência nas vozes do cárcere

Abstract

Resumo : O presente trabalho tem por objetivo identificar nas vozes dos detentos a influência da mídia e as atitudes violentas em relação à falta de respeito ao direito à vida do outro, a partir da pesquisa "Vozes do Cárcere" – Paz e não violência em busca de um novo modelo de gestão penal. Tendo início em 2011, a pesquisa "Vozes do Cárcere" do Projeto Novos Talentos, da Universidade Federal do Paraná – UFPR, em parceria com a Secretaria de Estado da Justiça, Cidadania e Direitos Humanos do Paraná – SEJU, ouviu 14.000 detentos das 23 Unidades Penais do Paraná. O método adotado neste estudo foi etnográfico, de hipótese qualitativo- fenomenológica, que visa o entendimento do comportamento humano, considerando a interpretação dos sujeitos em relação ao objeto de investigação, análise da influência da mídia e a violência, desde a infância, até os atos que levaram à privação da liberdade.

Abstract : This work aims to identify, in the voices of inmates, the influence of media and violent attitudes concerning about lack of respect to the right to life of another, based on the research "Voices from Prison - Peace and non-violence in search of a new style of criminal management". The research "Voices from Prison" is part of the New Talents Project of the Federal University of Parana and started in 2011, in partnership with the Secretary of State for Justice, Citizenship and Human Rights of Paraná - SSJU heard 14,000 inmates of 23 criminal units in Paraná. This study adopted theeth no graphic method, with qualitative, phenomenological hypothesis, which seeks to understand human behavior, considering the interpretation of the subject towards the object of investigation - analysing the influence of both media and violence from childhood to the acts that led to deprivation of liberty.
